A huge cheerio to Merle and Ian in Oregon. They are friends from a long time ago, and dear ol' Ian is a bit unwell at present so we're just saying; "Get well soon, Ian, we love you!" - you have to use bold to shout because they're so far away :)
They married on a beach in Hawaii at the end of last year and Merle was so excited telling me all about it. Merle was on exchange in 1994 in Toowoomba (Qld) and we've been friends ever since. She met Ian - would you believe he was born in Brisbane - in Portland after she returned to America and I first met him in 1996 (I think) when I visited the US.
